As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Your presence and regular patrols will help to deter security-related incidents, while your commitment to outstanding customer service and clear communication will enhance the overall experience for everyone at the location. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and client site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any irregularities such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences within the location.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents and provide reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors.
• Document and communicate all security-related incidents and activities according to Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Assist with access control and visitor management as directed, helping to maintain a secure environment appropriate to the healthcare setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent such as a GED.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
