Job Description


As a Security Officer Patrol Unarmed Driver in Superior, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more.

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment for all personnel and assets. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication. This position requires driving as part of your daily responsibilities. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.95 / Hour

A Valid Driver's License and a Hair Follicle Drug Test required

What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues, with working environments and conditions that may vary based on the location.
  • Observe and report any unusual activities or conditions to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
  • Assist in controlling access to the location, verifying credentials, and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site protocol.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, staff, and contractors to provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed logs of activities, incidents, and any security-related matters encountered during shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required for positions involving driving responsibilities, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
