As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Officer in Tar Heel, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more.

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will actively monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. Your visible presence and proactive approach will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for all employees and visitors. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential issues.
• Monitor the premises for any unusual activity and report findings according to company and client protocols.
• Support access control procedures by observing entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors to provide assistance and address inquiries as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
