Job Description


As a Security Officer - Financial Patrol Specialist in Stone Mountain, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will support a welcoming and professional atmosphere for all visitors and staff. This is a driving post, where you will also provide exceptional customer service and clear communication, reflecting our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist in controlling access to the location, verifying identification and credentials as required by site procedures.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to provide information and assistance as needed.
  • Complete required documentation, such as incident reports and daily activity logs, in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
