As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will play a key role in supporting the security-related needs of the location while upholding Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, innovation, and teamwork. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Sat07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual conditions, incidents, or activities within the financial institution location.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and employees, providing assistance as needed.
  • Document and report security-related incidents and/or concerns according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and assisting with visitor management.
  • Remain alert and attentive while performing duties, adapting to changing environments and conditions as required by the financial institution location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
  • Must provide proof of a high school diploma or General Education Diploma.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
