As a Security Professional - - Retail Site - Full Time in Central Valley, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence within retail and mall locations. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, assisting visitors, and supporting access control while delivering outstanding customer service. You will play an important role in creating a welcoming environment and responding to situations with professionalism and integrity. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report security-related incidents, hazards, or irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and guiding visitors as needed.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following established protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the retail environment to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activities.
• Document all patrols, observations, and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a valid guard card or security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
