As a Security Professional - - Distribution Center - Full Time in West Columbia, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment within a busy logistics and distribution location. Your role will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols to maintain a visible presence. You will play a key part in providing exceptional customer service and clear communication, while upholding our company values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following established procedures and guidelines.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and site contacts to relay relevant information and updates related to security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
