Job Description


As a Security Officer - CRE Patrol Specialist in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for tenants and visitors. By conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible, you will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe for and report irregularities, such as security-related breaches, hazards, or suspicious activity, to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and granting access as directed by site policies.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, including following evacuation protocols and assisting first responders.
  • Document security-related incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to occupants and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
