As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to established procedures.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations and/or other protocols as needed.
• Work collaboratively with facility staff and law enforcement or emergency personnel as required by the situation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and provide proof of completion as required by the client.
• Must be able to provide proof of all required vaccines for hospital work.
• Must be able to work in hospital environments including morgue areas as required by the client.
• Must be able to safely restrain individuals as required in hospital settings.
• A valid driver’s license is required and candidates must meet Allied Universal’s driver policy requirements for driving positions only.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
