As a Security Guard- Unarmed Patrol Telecom Sector in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication to everyone on site. By conducting routine patrols and remaining visible, you will contribute to a secure atmosphere, reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, and teamwork. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior, noting any irregularities.
• Monitor the location for any security-related concerns specific to a tech, media, or telecom environment, and report findings to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors and employees with inquiries and directions while maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Document and report any incidents, observations, and/or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure and welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Possession of a valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
