As a Security Professional - Distribution Site - Afternoon Shift in Murfreesboro, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As a Security Officer specializing in access control within a logistics and distribution environment, you will play a crucial role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the location to help maintain a visible presence. You will interact with a diverse group of individuals, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the facility to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or exit, following site-specific procedures.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and delivery personnel with access protocols and directions within the logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to observe for irregularities, potential security-related concerns, and to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Complete security-related reports and logs as required by Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and site contacts regarding security-related incidents and/or unusual circumstances observed during patrols or access control duties.
• Support the enforcement of site-specific policies and procedures to help to deter loss, theft, and/or damage to property within the logistics and distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
