As a Security Professional - Food Supplier - Full Time in Concord, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a food and beverage location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring access points, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the premises. You will engage with employees and visitors, provide outstanding customer service, and respond to situations with professionalism and care. This role requires driving as part of your responsibilities. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain security-related protocols at the location.
  • Verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises, following site-specific procedures.
  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by addressing inquiries and assisting with directions as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client site procedures.
  • Collaborate with site management and/or local authorities during emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Support the enforcement of site-specific policies and procedures to help to deter security-related risks within the food and beverage environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
