As a Security Professional - Healthcare Patrol in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Officer at a leading healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for all visitors, patients, and staff. Your presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your duties. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help to deter disruptive activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Observe and report any unusual conditions or activities within the facility to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and/or directing visitors as required by site-specific guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with facility staff and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment for employees, patients, and visitors.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license in the state where the job is located and meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements is required for driving positions only.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
