As a Security Officer – Unarmed Patrol in Harrodsburg, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to those on site. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following protocols established by Allied Universal and the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor access points and observe activities within the manufacturing and industrial location to help to deter potential security-related issues.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or hazards in accordance with Allied Universal and location guidelines.
• Collaborate with location staff and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns and support emergency response efforts.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and remain alert to potential security-related risks or unusual activities throughout the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
