As a Security Professional – Dispatch Operations in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Dispatch Officer within a leading Tech/Media/Telecom location, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and coordinating security-related operations. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Operate dispatch systems to monitor and coordinate security-related communications throughout the location.
  • Receive and respond to calls for service, incidents, and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Document and relay information to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining logs and records of all communications and incidents.
  • Provide customer service by following site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining awareness of all reported incidents and responding appropriately.
  • Support Allied Universal team members and site staff by facilitating clear and timely communications.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience or 3 years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
