As a Security Officer - Unarmed Telecom Patrols in Jessup, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech and media environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct regular patrols and provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $19.05 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within a tech and media corporate environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and observe for unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and report any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns according to company protocols.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or vendors while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
• Support Allied Universal operations by adhering to company standards and participating in ongoing training relevant to the technology and media environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
