As a Security Officer - Telecom Site Patrol in Florence, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all individuals you encounter. This is an unarmed, patrol-focused position that also requires driving, so a valid driver's license is necessary. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovative approaches to security-related challenges, all while putting people first and acting with integrity. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and visitor activity as required.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency responders as needed.
• Complete required documentation and/or incident reports in accordance with Allied Universal and client guidelines.
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings while performing patrol duties in a tech, media, or telecom environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required and applicants must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
