As a Security Officer - Defense Site Patrol in Lompoc, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in supporting a secure environment within a leading aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols of assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and assisting with incident response as needed. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the values of reliability, agility, and integrity that define Allied Universal. This position requires driving as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Observe and report any unusual occurrences, security-related hazards, or incidents as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Assist employees, visitors, and/or contractors with access control procedures and provide information or directions as needed.
• Support Allied Universal and client site staff during emergency situations by following established protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
