As a Security Officer - Financial Site - Front Desk in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Front Desk Security Officer in a financial institution setting, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors and managing access to the location. Your role involves monitoring entry points, assisting guests, handling badge and access control procedures, and supporting security-related protocols at the front desk. With a focus on exceptional customer service and communication, you will help to deter incidents by maintaining a professional and welcoming presence. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist employees, visitors, and/or clients at the front desk, providing a professional and courteous experience.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials for entry as required by site-specific policies.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents in a timely manner to the appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
  • Support the implementation of security-related procedures and protocols specific to financial institution environments.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed, maintaining clear communication with Allied Universal and site management.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities and security-related incidents as required by the site.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 months of security-related experience required.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
