As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a major food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in managing badge access, responding to alarm panels, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone on site. This position may require driving as part of your responsibilities. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the food and beverage environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related risks.
• Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or observations in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement when required to address security-related concerns.
• Assist with emergency evacuations and other site-specific emergency procedures as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
