As a Security Professional – Armed CRE Patrol in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment within a commercial real estate location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences encountered during patrols.
• Interact with visitors, tenants, and staff in a courteous manner, providing assistance as needed while upholding security-related protocols.
• Carry out duties while armed, following all applicable regulations and company policies regarding the handling and carrying of firearms.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and local law enforcement as required to address incidents or emergencies at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 5 years of security-related experience.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
