As a Security Officer - Chemical Plant - Full Time in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated chemical and petrochemical locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and a visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a secure environment. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, including areas with chemical and petrochemical operations.
• Monitor for any unusual activity or potential hazards throughout the location and promptly report observations to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist in controlling access to restricted areas, verifying credentials and/or authorization as required by site policy.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following established protocols and coordinating with first responders as needed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
