Job Description


As a Security Officer - Dispatch Operations in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal serving a financial institution location, you will play a critical role in maintaining a secure environment by monitoring alarm panels, managing access control systems, and coordinating response efforts. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, staying alert to identify and report any security-related incidents, and remaining highly visible to help to deter unwanted activity. You will interact with clients and visitors, providing outstanding customer service while communicating important information to the appropriate personnel. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including calls and messages, in a professional and timely manner to support security-related operations at the location.
  • Monitor security-related systems such as alarms, cameras, and access control panels to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Dispatch security personnel and/or emergency responders to incidents and critical situations as required.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities accurately and promptly.
  • Collaborate with on-site personnel and/or law enforcement as needed to address security-related situations.
  • Follow site-specific policies and procedures while providing customer service to clients and visitors.
  • Respond to security-related incidents and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
