As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Full Time in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as needed, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the property using a vehicle as required. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the manufacturing and industrial location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance issues observed during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support a secure work environment.
• Remain alert and ready to respond to emergencies, alarms, or requests for assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only, in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
