As a Security Professional - - Defense Facility - Full Time in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.

As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents, while your commitment to exceptional customer service and clear communication will make a positive impact. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for covering various areas throughout the site. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately during emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious behavior or activity.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance needs to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and contractors by providing information and supporting adherence to site protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and/or client staff to support a secure environment within the aerospace and defense location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by client.
  • A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
