As a Security Officer - - Tech Site - Full Time in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will play a key role in monitoring activity, coordinating communications, and responding to security-related incidents. Your responsibilities include operating alarm panels, managing access control systems, and providing outstanding customer service to employees and visitors. You will use computer or tablet technology to document events and maintain clear communication with both internal teams and external partners. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Operate as a dispatcher, monitoring and coordinating security-related communications and activities within the location.
• Respond promptly and calmly to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations by following established procedures and site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting employees, visitors, and contractors as needed.
• Maintain detailed logs of calls, incidents, and communications to support site operations and reporting requirements.
• Communicate clearly with security personnel, management, and external agencies as necessary to relay information and coordinate response efforts.
• Conduct regular checks of security-related systems, such as alarms, cameras, and access controls, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Follow protocols for emergency response, including contacting appropriate personnel and supporting evacuation or lockdown procedures as directed.
• Support Allied Universal's mission by upholding security-related procedures and maintaining a professional presence at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
