Job Description


As a Security Officer- Access Control Logistics in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As an Access Control Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment for personnel and assets. You will interact with team members and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
  • Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and drivers with access-related inquiries and procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to observe and report any security-related concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of access activity, incidents, and other security-related events as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuation or lockdown procedures when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
