As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare environment, you will play a key role in helping to create a welcoming and secure atmosphere for patients, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the location, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or unauthorized individuals in restricted areas.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and verifying identification as required by site policies.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, patients, and visitors to provide assistance and information as needed.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid Guard Card is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
