As a Security Officer - Healthcare Center Patrol - Full Time in Mountain View, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a respected healthcare location, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will also be expected to provide outstanding customer service, assisting those in need with professionalism and empathy. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order and assist staff, patients, and visitors as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and monitor for unusual conditions.
• Observe and report any security-related concerns or incidents promptly to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and helping to guide visitors as required.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergencies and/or drills by following established protocols and procedures.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout assigned areas to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to employees, patients, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
