Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a Real Estate Firm located in Levittown, Long Island.

  • Position is: Full Time
  • Work days Available: Monday - Friday (03:00 pm - 10:00 pm)
  • Work Shifts Available: Afternoon
  • Pay Rate: $18.00 - $19.00
  • Must exhibit great customer service skills, will be interacting with the general public on a daily basis and interaction with clients and staff

As a Security Officer - Front Desk Patrol in Levittown, LI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries.

As a Front Desk professional with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees at the assigned location. Your role involves managing access control, providing exceptional customer service, and assisting with security-related inquiries to help create a welcoming and secure environment. You will utilize strong communication skills and a caring approach, reflecting Allied Universal's values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk location.
  • Monitor access points and verify identification of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including communicating with appropriate personnel and following instructions.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site procedures.
  • Answer questions and provide information or directions to clients, visitors, and employees as needed.
  • Work closely with Allied Universal and client representatives to address security-related concerns and support a welcoming environment at the front desk.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
