As a Security Officer - Financial Site - Part Time in Rocky Mount, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a financial institution location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining visible to help to deter potential security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to all visitors and staff. You will be the first point of contact for those entering the facility, responding to inquiries and assisting with any security-related concerns. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Observe and report any irregularities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors and employees with inquiries and directions as needed.
• Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.
• Document incidents and activities clearly and accurately as required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
