As a Security Professional - Education Access Liaison in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more.

As an Allied Universal team member assigned to an education location, you will play a vital role in supporting a secure and welcoming campus environment. In this access control-focused position, your responsibilities will include monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols of assigned areas. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while fostering positive interactions with students, staff, and visitors. You will be expected to provide excellent customer service and clear communication, serving as a resource and point of contact for those on campus. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access points at the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment for students, faculty, and visitors.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering restricted areas, following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Provide customer service to all individuals by responding to inquiries and offering assistance as needed while maintaining security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings and the perimeter of the location to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and any unusual activity according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
• Collaborate with campus staff and local law enforcement as required to address security-related matters and support a secure campus environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
