As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout the property to help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and professionalism will support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. This role involves driving responsibilities, utilizing your Class B Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement. You will also provide outstanding customer service and communication while upholding our values of agility, reliability, innovation, and teamwork.

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor the premises for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Document all patrols, observations, and incidents according to Allied Universal guidelines.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required by location policies.
• Support emergency response efforts during incidents such as fire alarms, medical emergencies, or other urgent situations.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter potential disruptions and/or security-related incidents.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to provide information and address inquiries or concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A valid Class B driver's license with passenger endorsement is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
