Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential incidents and identify any unusual activity.
• Observe and report any security-related irregularities, including property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Assist staff, visitors, and/or patients by providing directions and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site personnel to support security-related needs and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Document and report all incidents, accidents, or medical emergencies according to established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have received required vaccines as mandated by the hospital or healthcare facility.
• Must be able to assist in restraining individuals as needed in a hospital environment.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, or baton is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
