As a Security Professional - Retail Mall Patrol in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic retail environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication and a people-first approach. This position requires driving responsibilities as part of your daily duties. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or unauthorized individuals on the premises.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or directing foot traffic as needed.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when required, following established protocols.
• Document all incidents and activities clearly and accurately in daily reports or logs as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
• Maintain a professional presence and serve as a visible point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors at the retail location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required for positions that involve driving and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• A Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
