As a Security Professional - Healthcare Patrol Driver in Brandon, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a dynamic healthcare environment, you will play a crucial role in helping to deter security-related incidents through regular patrols and a visible presence throughout the location. Your responsibilities include monitoring assigned areas, supporting hospital staff, and interacting with patients and visitors to provide a welcoming atmosphere. You will also respond to various situations with professionalism, demonstrating exceptional customer service and communication skills. This position requires driving as part of your duties, allowing you to cover multiple areas and respond promptly to calls for assistance. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order and support the well-being of staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or violations of facility policies to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control, visitor management, and enforcing facility policies to help support a secure environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and local law enforcement when necessary to address incidents and/or emergencies.
  • Provide visible presence and support to staff, patients, and visitors to help to deter disruptive behavior and promote a welcoming atmosphere.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Applicants must be able to provide proof of required vaccinations as mandated by the hospital client.
  • Applicants must be able to perform duties in morgue settings as required by the hospital client.
  • Applicants must be able to assist in restraining individuals as required by the hospital client.
  • A valid driver's license in the state where the job is located is required for driving positions only.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
