As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Healthcare in Murrells Inlet, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. This armed post requires you to remain highly visible, respond promptly to incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including those requiring armed intervention as per post requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and protect property and individuals.
• Assist with emergency response activities and communicate with law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during assigned shifts.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide reassurance to those on site.
• Follow all Allied Universal procedures and protocols related to armed security-related posts in a healthcare location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Must possess an active armed guard card or license as required by applicable law.
• Must possess a valid corrections officer license and/or law enforcement officer license as required by applicable law.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
