As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a location within the food and beverage industry, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment by monitoring entry points and verifying credentials of individuals entering the premises. Your presence and professionalism help to deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming atmosphere. You will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, remain visible to staff and visitors, and respond promptly to any security-related concerns. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain an orderly flow of personnel and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe for irregularities and report any concerns.
• Document observations and incidents thoroughly and promptly as required by site protocols.
• Assist with enforcing rules and regulations related to access control within a food and beverage production environment.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must possess a valid TSA issued TWIC credential.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
