As a Security Professional - Media Site Patrol in Whitsett, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting a secure environment within a dynamic tech and media location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence, and engaging with employees, visitors, and guests to provide outstanding customer service. You will be expected to utilize technology such as computers or tablets to document incidents and communicate clearly with your team. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe for any unusual conditions, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors as needed.
• Document and report any security-related incidents or concerns according to site and Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist with access control and monitor entrances and exits as directed.
• Remain alert and attentive while on patrol to help to deter potential issues within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
