As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment within a dynamic retail or mall location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and assisting guests, tenants, and staff with professionalism and courtesy. You will serve as a resource for information, provide exceptional customer service, and respond promptly to any situations that may arise. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail or mall environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business interior and surrounding perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
• Support the enforcement of location policies and procedures, including access control measures and visitor management.
• Assist with crowd control and/or wayfinding during busy periods or special events within the location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
