As a Security Officer - Unarmed Real Estate Patrol in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the property, staying visible to help discourage unwanted activity, and providing outstanding customer service through clear communication and a professional presence. This position is primarily a driving post, so you will be responsible for monitoring the premises both on foot and by vehicle, responding promptly to service calls, and assisting with any security-related concerns as they arise. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any irregularities or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location, in accordance with established protocols.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with property management and/or local authorities as required to address security-related concerns.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to provide reassurance to tenants, employees, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required for positions that are primarily driving posts and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• A valid Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
