As a Security Professional - Retail Site - Lobby in SAVANNAH, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a major retail distribution center, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment. Stationed at the front desk, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors, checking credentials, and monitoring access to the facility. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service to staff and guests. You will utilize technology such as computers, tablets, and access control systems to monitor entry and exit, respond to alarms, and communicate with team members. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
• Assist with visitor management, including logging guests and issuing visitor badges as required by site protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
• Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding security-related matters and/or emergencies.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, potential hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Support emergency response activities at the location when appropriate, including coordinating with first responders and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
