As a Security Guard Healthcare Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will play a key role in creating a secure and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will be expected to provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while maintaining a professional presence. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents within the location to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and guiding visitors as required.
  • Support the enforcement of site rules and regulations to help to maintain order within the healthcare environment.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site staff to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
