As a Security Guard - Telecom Site Patrol - Unarmed in Secaucus, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be an integral part of a team supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecom location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout designated areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to situations as they arise. You will interact with employees, visitors, and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding our company's values of agility, reliability, and innovation. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter security-related incidents within the tech, media, and telecom environment.
• Report and document any unusual activity or security-related concerns according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with inquiries and access as required by site procedures.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary based on site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
