As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for people and property. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring and controlling access points, conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, and remaining highly visible to provide a reassuring presence. You will also engage with staff and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents within the logistics environment.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and delivery personnel regarding access protocols and site policies.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and location personnel to support a secure working environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required for positions subject to Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
