As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your visible presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you provide excellent customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, visitors, and/or patients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or incidents within the healthcare environment to the appropriate personnel.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials as required, and assisting with visitor management.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related issues and provide assistance as needed.
• Document all security-related incidents and activities according to site and Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to provide proof as required by the client.
• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet; this is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
