As a Unarmed Security Guard - Education Site in NAPA, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a crucial role in creating a secure and welcoming environment at a renowned educational location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the campus, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and assisting students, staff, and visitors with professionalism and courtesy. You will be the first point of contact for many, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to incidents or requests for assistance. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the campus and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activities, hazards, or potential threats encountered during patrols.
• Assist students, faculty, staff, and visitors with directions and general information as needed.
• Work collaboratively with campus personnel and/or local authorities as required by site protocols.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and contribute to a secure environment within the educational setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
