As a Security Guard Museum Unarmed Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a welcoming environment at a prominent government cultural location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the property, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity, and providing exceptional customer service to visitors and staff. You will be relied upon to communicate clearly and respond promptly to any security-related concerns or incidents, while also utilizing technology such as computers or tablets as needed. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activities.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, potential hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergencies and/or drills by following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• State, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
