As a Security Professional - Tech Site - Morning Shift in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment within a dynamic technology-focused location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout assigned areas, maintaining a highly visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to situations as they arise. You will interact with employees, visitors, and guests, providing outstanding customer service while supporting access control and badge protocols. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site-specific protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols to maintain a secure environment within the tech, media, and telecom setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Current CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
