As a Security Professional Retail Patrol Overnight in LOS ANGELES, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail or mall location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the property. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access points, assisting visitors, and responding to any security-related concerns with professionalism and a commitment to excellent customer service. You will engage with the public, provide helpful information, and use technology such as computers or tablets to document your activities. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall location, including the business interior and surrounding perimeter.
• Observe for any suspicious activity or potential hazards, and report findings according to company and client procedures.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials as required.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including communication with local authorities and Allied Universal management.
• Document all incidents, observations, and activities in daily reports or logs as required by the site.
• Offer assistance to visitors, tenants, and/or employees as needed, providing directions or information about the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
